Wednesday Edition February 14th, 2001 |
Hi everyone: I love you people. You make my day. Your letters are a hoot. Enjoy this beautiful celebration and smile at everyone you meet. Yesterday's Babe Gauge stud Chris didn't do so hot. Chin up Chris. All the girls in the Intelligent X office (who are definitely hot) think you're adorable. We must have some jokesters out there in poll land. -Ed.

Love Mail, Hate Mail, Weird Mail Advice for Janao: "Write a hot, inspirational script but refuse to sell it unless you play the lead. That's how Stallone got going with Rocky. Good luck!" -Sarah Sounds good. But Stallone was kinda buff though, too. -Ed.
"Ed, What is the meaning of life?" -Shane Somehow I feel this question is ill-phrased. Don't worry, many philosophers before you have asked it. You're still tops in my book, Shane. Tell me what you really want to know. -Ed.
"Dear Tom, Yes, I paid attention, so I know your name is not Ed. Jim from California was complaining about "wide screen" videos and DVD's. While I can understand that it may seem annoying (I thought so too, at first), he needs to realize that if they don't do it "wide screen", then the video loses quite a bit of the picture. A movie screen is like this: [_______], and a tv screen is like this: [___]. So, if you put just the amount of picture that fits heightwise on the tv screen, you are missing this much picture (the xed out part): [xx[___]xx]. Learn to like "wide screen" videos! You can do it, Jim!" -Movie Woman Best use of ASCII I've seen all day, MW. -Ed.
